ABOUT:
Confirmation is a three-year teaching ministry with the goal of passing on faith to our 5th-7th grade students. The focus of our teaching is on the Holy Bible and Luther's catechism which includes units on the Ten Commandments, The Apostles' Creed, The Lord's Prayer, and The Sacrament of Holy Baptism. We use a workshop format where students listen to a presentation and then have the opportunity for discussion and questions. Recognizing the importance of fellowship and Christian service, once a month we replace our Wednesday workshop with an evening designed to accomplish these purposes. At least one retreat is offered annually, giving time for additional learning and fun.
